Franco Colapinto to Compete in the Mexican GP

Franco Colapinto, Argentine driver, has had a remarkable participation in Formula 1 this season. After a historic ninth place in Azerbaijan and a standout performance in the United States where he finished tenth and achieved an overtaking of Fernando Alonso, Colapinto returns to the track at the Mexican Grand Prix. The Williams team has confirmed that Colapinto will continue to compete for the rest of the season instead of Logan Sargeant.

The Argentine driver will be present at least five more races, with his next race being the twentieth round in Mexico, at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Colapinto's activities in Mexico begin this Friday with Practice 1 and 2 at 3:30 PM. On Saturday, Free Practice 3 and qualifying will take place, while the race over 71 laps is scheduled for Sunday at 5:00 PM.

The Mexican Grand Prix is known for its altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level, which affects the performance of engines and tires. The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, with a length of 4.3 kilometers and 71 laps, will challenge drivers with a unique mix of fast and technical corners. The passion of Mexican fans creates a special atmosphere in the circuit.

Regarding tickets for the Fan Zone of Mexico, prices vary according to the type of ticket purchased. From 650 Mexican pesos for one day to 3,199 pesos for the premium option of three days. Among the experiences offered are activations, concerts, rest areas, food trucks, and shopping with a Cashless system.

The Mexican Grand Prix presents unique challenges for drivers, such as power loss due to altitude, excessive tire wear due to speed and asphalt abrasiveness, and the changing weather conditions in Mexico City. The circuit features fast and technical corners, with Peraltada being one of the most iconic, allowing for high speeds.

In summary, Franco Colapinto returns to Formula 1 at the Mexican Grand Prix at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, facing a challenging circuit and a unique atmosphere.
